Our Family
Steve is very excited to have a brother or sister to round out our family. Steve was born June 2008 and has a wonderful, happy attitude and a great curiosity. We have felt such joy and contentment since he joined us. Steve just loves spending time with his grandparents who are very excited about us adopting another child. All four grandparents are very active and spend a great deal of time with their grandchildren and if you could see them, you would think they found the fountain of youth! Not only will our children have great role models to look up to, but they will also become part of a very large, active, supportive and loving group of family and friends.
We both had very happy childhoods and are very excited knowing that our children will grow up knowing and playing with many cousins and childhood friends. Each year our family tends to grow larger and closer. We believe very strongly in the institution of family, and the strong, positive effect is has on a child's development.
It will be very exciting to see what creative adventures our children can dream up while playing with their many cousins and friends. We have a very creative family that not only believes in education, but also the power of fun and imagination. Our children will be exposed to many different places, ideas and cultures and will grow up with many fantastic opportunities to learn about the wonderful world that awaits them.
Our family has been fortunate to experience good health and longevity. We have seen many of our senior family members reach their 90’s and above. The stories told by grandparents and great grandparents are always interesting and will help to link the children of today with the history of our past. The examples set by our elder family relatives show that you can keep very active during all parts of your life.

Our Family: We are lucky to have a very happy and active family. Being raised in Massachusetts, Dianne has many family members living in the New England states. Alex has a bunch of family in New Jersey, Hawaii and Louisiana. Dianne’s parents live in Florida for half of the year and they are joined by many of her aunts, uncles and cousins who live here year round. Both sides of our family consist of both biological and adopted family members. Together our families make up quite a diverse group of interesting people, who are always willing to help each other. We consider ourselves fortunate to have grown up around some very good role models. Both sides of our family are extremely supportive and very accepting. We have aunts, uncles and cousins who were adopted. They all are truly excited about the possibility of welcoming more children into the family.
